STRATEGIC SUSTAINABILITY BENCHMARKING FOR NOKIA 

CLIENT NEEDS: Nokia Design needed to understand how different companies were communicating their sustainability values through different channels.

SOLUTION: Based on previous academic and industry research, Seos planned and conducted a multi-channel benchmarking study that helped Nokia Design understand how sustainability issues are currently communicated through products, brands, and corporate communications. 

CLIENT BENEFITS: The end result helped build a method that allows Nokia Design to analyze and compare how different companies communicate their sustainabiility messages. This helps Nokia Design to position different products and companies according to their real and perceived sustainability values.

COMPTEL MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS 2008 STAND

Comptel, a Finnish telecom software firm, needed a way to stand out from their competition at Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona. The requirements dictated that the stand must include meeting room, and that it should be soundproofed to provide a comfortable meeting space. Considering sustainability issues was deemed to be an additional bonus, but not a benefit as such.

GLOCAL SHOPPER 2008 AT DESIGN FORUM FINLAND

Glocal Shopper, Design Forum Finland's Summer 2008 Exhibition opened on 12th June. With interior designed by Seos, the themes of the exhibition are current topics such as ethic consuming, sustainable design, local design, local manufacturing and recycling.

 

The exhibition comments on consumer choices and points out perspectives to design and manufacturing. In the exhibition there are products from a wide range of Finnish designers and companies. All the items on display are on sale.
